SUMMARY OF WORK

1. The EBL Team produced the “Healthy Pastors, Healthy Families” webinar series to address a range of topics relevant to the well-being of pastors and their families.

2. The EBL Team produced the “Kingdoms & Identities” webinar series to equip our leaders to disciple their people through a charged political season.

3. The EBL Team compiled data from the 2024 Pastor Well-Being Survey and the 2023-2024 MVC Pilot Program to gain insight into the realities EPC pastors face.

4. At our request, the EPC purchased the Sabbatical Planning Toolkit from PIR Ministries as a free resource available to all EPC pastors and churches.

WORK OF THE COMMITTEE

The Effective Biblical Leadership Team works to foster a culture of Christ-centered leadership in the EPC. We believe effective biblical leaders are people of increasingly Christlike character whose example and passion inspire others to follow Christ. As we provide resources and learning opportunities, we focus on developing leaders who are rooted in the love of God in Christ, continually growing in their love for God and others. Much of our work is done online, as we produce webinars that address various topics and highlight resources we hope our Presbytery and local leaders will utilize as they see fit.

One of the newest resources available to EPC pastors and congregations is the Sabbatical Planning Toolkit from PIR Ministries. The EPC has purchased this toolkit so that EPC pastors and their Sessions can plan for a sabbatical that will be a blessing to both pastor and congregation.
